The Odd Couple

Buddy, or Bud as he is more commonly known, is a shy & gentle dog. He is the kind of dog that will do anything for his human companion. Although he is shy, he is unbelievably smart & can be taught all kinds of tricks! Keen to please, Buddy’s favourite trick is making the bed & tidying the bedroom. He's also handy in the kitchen & will lick the dirty dishes until they sparkle & shine. He is always gushing about his son, Buddy the Pup, & their truffle-hunter pen pal in Tassie, Boots the dog. They say dogs are a man’s best friend but Buddy, with his bashful nature, prefers the friendship of children.

Cheeky Checkers the Cat loves farm life because chasing birds is what he does best. He never eats them, of course, just ruffles their tailfeathers a bit! After a long day pouncing after chickens, geese & roosters, Checkers likes to stretch out on a child’s warm lap with a saucer of double cream & a tin of sardines to watch The Aristocats.
